MCB-501 HVAC Compressor Monitoring System

The MCerberus® HVAC Compressor Monitoring system allows for remote monitoring of HVAC Compressors that may be easily installed on existing and/or new systems. The pricing of the System starts at $995/unit which includes hardware and the mobile iPhone application. The System includes the monitoring system, required harnesses, 10K type 2 temperature sensor, 0-500 psig pressure sensors, and AC 50A current probe.

All critical monitoring hardware items are contained in a NEMA Class 6 enclosure which provides a complete protection environment from dirt, dust, debris, and water. All electrical connections to the monitoring hardware are connected via keyed Weatherpack connectors which provides environmentally sealed connections designed to withstand exposure to extreme temperature and moisture.

The product allows for remote measuring and monitoring of the following HVAC Compressor attributes: (a) Suction pressure, (b) Discharge pressure, (c) Suction Line Temperature, (d) Discharge Line Temperature, (e) thermostat control signal, (f) AC line current measurement w a 50A current probe, and (g) optional differential pressure measurement. Measurement data is transferred to the RTA server via the site 2.4GHz WiFi which saves the user monthly cellular charges. The system includes a high gain external seven (7) dBm antenna to enhance WiFi connections. The stored measurement frequency is 1 sample/minute subject to optimized dynamic storage conditions which results in a stored measurement when certain criteria are met.

Remote viewing of the measurement data is done using our release iPhone application which may be downloaded during from the iPhone store. The user may view the last measurement numerical data set as well as time series graphical views of the day for a period of one, two, and/or three days. The product requires no monthly fees for data storage.
